Social Media and the Impact on Youth

Service Description

This course dissects the complexities of how social media engages our brains and how this is especially critical with our youth as it pertains to development across domains. The course reviews stages of development and how they are impacted; how social media keeps us coming back and why it matters. This course will review not only the impact on social, psychological and behavioral development of youth, but also how it informs body image, view of self and view of the world and people around the youth. The course is available in a variety of delivery methods and is offered in three different lengths. Condensed (90 mins), Shortened (3 hours), or Full (5 hours).
